2025 Predictions and (Some Random) Hot Takes

Tadej Pogacar will win seven Great Victories (Milano-Sanremo, Ronde van Vlaanderen, Liege-Bastogne-Liege, Tour de France, Vuelta a Espana, World Championship Road Race, Il Lombardia) and 27 total races, thus surpassing his 2024 season as the greatest ever

Included in this rampage will be five stages of the Tour and eight stages of the Vuelta

Pogacar’s 100th career win will be a stage of the Criterium du Dauphine

Primoz Roglic will be in his best form ever and win the Giro d’Italia by five or more minutes and arrive at the Tour de France flying, but not flying enough to finish above fourth

Remco Evenepoel will score more UCI points than last year despite his off-season crash and ensuing missed training and racing (he will podium the Tour again but rampage through the final third of the season)

Jonas Vingegaard will be better than in 2024 and dominate stage racing until the Tour de France, where he will give Pogacar a good run, but finish second again

Tom Pidcock will have a career year at his new team and score more UCI points than Maxim Van Gils, who will disappoint in his first year at Red Bull

Jonathan Milan will dominate the Tour de France sprints and win at least three stages

Dorian Godon will win at least five WorldTour races (he’s only won two in his whole career, two stages of the Tour de Romandie last year)

Jhonatan Narvaez will be even better than last year, and will be the last (best) domestique for Pogacar in MSR, the cobbles, the Ardennes, and and on puncheur stages of the Tour de France (he’s riding almost the identical schedule as Pogi)

Laurence Pithie will win a major cobbled classic

Jonas Abrahamsen will win a major race

There are dozens more, but I’ll leave it there so I’m only wrong about what I have written above, no other bonehead ideas

2025 let’s go!
